To mark the untimely death of one of the great proponents of biomolecular NMR in the UK, and a mentor and friend to many, the planned meeting on Macromolecular Machines has been postponed to a later date, to be arranged in 2020, and this meeting was instead  dedicated to the memory of Chris.

The meeting was held at the Francis Crick Institute at 5pm on Thursday 26 September 2019, with three speakers drawn from Chris’s former students and post-docs:

  • Andy Baldwin (Oxford)
  • Alfonso de Simone (Imperial)
  • Minkoo Ahn (UCL)

The meeting concluded with informal discussions and drinks in the Crick bar.
